If you want some authentic Brazilian food without leaving the States, here a few places I would recommend.
Brazil Brasileiro (Richardson, TX)
Great Place. Home-style buffet, weighed by the pound. Great example of Brazilian food at a reasonable price. I just visited their website recently, and it looks like they kicked it up a notch and added "rodízio." I'm guessing the prices went up :)
Fogo de Chão
I haven't been to this one myself, but have heard great things about it. A bit pricey, especially in the evenings.
Texas de Brazil (various locations)

Despite the name being an affront to Portuguese grammar, this is a great example of a churrascaria (Brazilian-style steakhouse).
