Frequently Asked Questions/Troubleshooting
If you're like me, the so-called "Frequently-Asked Questions" on most websites rarely have my question, let alone the answer I'm looking for. I hope to have this work differently on our website. The questions in this section are here because they are, in fact, frequently asked, or because I anticipate that they will be frequently asked. Unlike many sites that I think simply make up questions at random, or pay someone too much money to derive meaningless questions with answers of no real value to their readers, I plan to actually post questions that I get asked frequently (within reason, of course). So if your question and answer are not in the list below, e-mail me and ask me! If people ask me a certain question frequently enough, it might make the list! Isn't it amazing how this works?

My computer has trouble reading the PDF versions of your prayer letters. Why is that? PDF
Wednesday, August 22, 2007

I test all my letters on both Mac and PC computers, as well as several browsers to ensure that they both download properly and look the way I intended them to. All this doesn't guarantee that it will work when you try to download and view my letters on your computer. This is unfortunate, since PDF is one of the most widely compatible formats available.

I can offer one suggestion, that seems to have helped a number of people: update your Adobe Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader is a free download, and is most likely what your computer (PC) is using to open PDF files. Having the most current version available is important to reading PDF files, even those embedded in web pages, like mine. Please visit www.Abobe.com to download the latest version of this software, and then try viewing the file(s) again.
